1. Say no to the starch

One of the health foods we consider is starches. Some examples of this type of food are potatoes, oats, rice, some veggies, etc.
Although they may be healthy, they also pack the pounds if you consume too much.
If you do not know it yet, I have this program called “every Other Day Diet” System (EODD). This program encourages eating starches and sweets a number of days in a week for losing excess weight.
So… How does IT work?
It’s simple – use proper timing.
Our approach to food should change to “weekly,” rather than daily. The variation on your eating habits will keep your metabolism guessing. Your fat burning capacity is better if the body can’t figure out your eating habits. Because of this, you will be able to eat starches at least during certain days of the week.
If you don’t want to do EODD, the only option you have to settle with your only option. That option is to remove starches from your diet totally for 4-8 weeks. You can then add them slowly a few days each week.
This might not have the same fun factor or as effective as doing EODD but it will give you the results you are looking for.
2. Say no to Sodas
This was really tough for me. I’ve been addicted to diet-soda for years. When I need to get into shape, I have to remove diet soda from my life. And yeah, I mentioned diet sodas. And don’t think I have to mention real sodas too..do you? They’re loaded with a lot of sugar.
So what’s with diet-sodas you ask? A recent study showed that drinking diet sodas will actually increase your body fat more than drinking regular sodas.
That’s right. Aspartame and other chemicals can’t fool your body. That’s the sad truth.
Here’s one personal story. When I removed diet-soda from my diet, my body fat dropped like a piece of stone in a pool of water.
You need to drink water – a quart of pure water for every 50 pounds of body weight.
I usually mix it with a little bit of lemon and Stevia (a type of herbal sweetener) to make Lemonade. It is great.
3. Maintain Hunger

“Stay Hungry” was Arnold’s first movie (that is after “Pumping Iron).” You cannot do that by sitting on your butt alone.
A person has to be special to be hungry… It even takes a greater one to maintain that state.
I’d like you to maintain hunger in two ways: be hungry in how you work out and be hungry literally. It is best that you feel a little hunger (not starving) before sleeping at night.
I have a brilliant solution when it comes to your workouts. If you availed of the EODD, you can get a limited shot at “7 Minute Body.” It’s my combo of “7 Minute Muscle” and “The 7 Minute In-Home Workout” all in one great book. That’s like more than a half off..but remember that’ it’s just a limited deal. Gotta have EODD.. You’ll need both of them.
The best way to maintain hunger is by progression, be it “forced” progression. 7 Minute Body forces that progression without needing you to actually think about it. Progression is built into the System.
With regard to staying hungry before going to bed, consult your doctor if he/she is okay with you taking 500 mg of potassium and 1000 mg of magnesium/calcium a few hours prior to sleeping. This will help with your hunger pangs. In addition, you should also have hard-boiled eggs in the fridge ready. You can eat one with half the yolk (discard the other half) in case you get very hungry. This will keep you feeling full for at least an hour.
4. Cardio Clearness
Doing hours of cardio is not the solution. You can however do light cardio activities such as brisk walking just or using a stationary bike (60% effort). I’m actually okay with doing that and it doesn’t bore me – especially when I’m watching TV. The light cardio doesn’t really intervene with my main fat loss exercise which is weight training. It burns off around 400 calories per hour.
What really works is early morning fasting cardio – but this you could do for only 9-15 minutes. I will tell you the GXP Protocol (Modified) in the 7 minute Body book. It’s only available if you picked up the EODD fitness ebook today.
5. Go Raw at Night
Eating raw veggies with a last meal for the day will help with your fat burning endeavor. I ate raw peppers that time when I started just for the reason that they’re sweet. Now, I eat almost every veggie raw without any qualms. Try it! It is well worth the fat loss.
